You are cordially invited to the launch of Galway’s 3rd African Film Festival on Thursday, May 13th, at 5.30pm in the Town Hall Theatre, Galway.
The festival will be launched by Adedotun Adekeye, a well known Galway actor and scriptwriter originally from Nigeria.
Welcome to the 3rd Annual Galway African Film Festival
MAY 24TH & 25TH 2010 / TOWN HALL THEATRE, GALWAY
The Galway One World Centre, Galway Film Society and The Huston School of Film & Digital Media are delighted to bring you Galway’s third African Film Festival. This year, we showcase films from Nigeria, Chad, Algeria and Zimbabwe. They range from an animated film made using recycled materials, to a supernatural tale from Nollywood. The festival aims to portray the huge wealth of talent found in the countries that make up the continent Africa..
All morning and afternoon shows will be free of charge. Evening films will be priced as follows:

Concessions: 3 euro
Adult: 5 euro
