We would like to cordially invite you to the launch of Galway’s 3rd African Film Festival on Thursday, May 13th at 5.30pm in the Town Hall Theatre, Galway.

This year’s festival includes a horror film from Nigeria, an animation from Zimbabwe, and – of course – a film about soccer from Chad, as well as many others. It will take place on May 24th and 25th in the Town Hall Theatre and you are also very welcome to attend the screenings. The festival will be launched by Mr Adedotun Adekeye, a well known Galway actor and scriptwriter originally from Nigeria.

The festival is the result of a joint project between the Galway One World Centre, Galway Film Society and the Huston School of Film & Digital Media.
